LGPC AIS Workshop Nov 13

The Lake George Park Commission will be holding a special meeting on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Fort William Henry Conference Center in Lake George, NY.  This meeting will be focused solely on the status of the Aquatic Invasive Species planning effort for Lake George. 

A presentation will be made to the Commissioners regarding the LGPC consultant’s recommendation of a mandatory boat inspection program for Lake George related to invasive species.  Details will be discussed related to how such a program could work, the costs, logistics, and funding options. 

This will be a workshop meeting for the purposes of informing the Commissioners about this program, and the public is invited to attend to listen to the discussion, but this event is not a forum for public involvement or discussion.

LGPC AIS Committee Meeting Fri Sept 21st in Qbry

The Aquatic Invasive Species Committee plans to hold a meeting on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Queensbury Senior Citizen Center at 742 Bay Road, Queensbury, NY.  The Senior Citizen Center is connected to the Queensbury Town Hall and the entrance is located at the rear of the building.
