Lake George is located in Northeastern New York, in the Southeastern corner of the Adirondack Park. It is known as the Queen of American Lakes for its pristine waters and scenic vistas. The lake is a popular tourist destination and provides great opportunities for boating and fishing.
The lake is surrounded by Warren County and the Village of Lake George and the Towns of Lake George, Bolton, Hague, and Queensbury to the West and the South; Washington County and the Towns of Fort Ann, Dresden, and Putnam to the East, and Essex County and the Town of Ticonderoga to the North.
